Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB)

Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is a government agency under the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities of Malaysia. Its primary role is to promote and develop the Malaysian palm oil industry through research and development (R&D), regulatory functions, and the provision of technical services.

MPOB is neither a factory nor a trader. It does not engage in the commercial production or trading of palm oil. Instead, it serves as a statutory body responsible for enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the Malaysian palm oil sector.
