Assay (Purity)

Assay is the measured purity of a chemical lot, usually expressed as a percentage on the COA, sometimes with a specified analytical method.

Buyers should write target assay and critical impurities on the RFQ. Industrial, technical and higher grades differ. Always verify lot assay on the COA before release.
