UNITED STATES PHARMACOPOEIAL CONVENTION (USP) Company Profile

USP Reference Standards

These are highly characterized physical specimens used in conjunction with the tests and assays provided in the USP-NF. Pharmaceutical manufacturers, including those in India, purchase these reference standards to perform quality control tests on their products, ensuring identity, strength, quality, and purity according to USP standards. USP maintains a vast catalog of thousands of such reference standards.

Food Chemicals Codex (FCC)

The FCC is a compendium of internationally recognized standards for the purity and identity of food ingredients. It includes monographs for food additives, flavorings, vitamins, and other ingredients. This is used by the food industry in India and globally.

Dietary Supplement Compendium (DSC)

This provides quality standards for dietary supplements and their ingredients, including monographs and general chapters.
