Company Introduction:

General Motor Co. in Pakistan refers to the historical and current presence of General Motors, the multinational automotive corporation, within the country. Historically, General Motors engaged in manufacturing and assembly operations in Pakistan through joint ventures and local partners, such as General Motors Pakistan Limited. These ventures were responsible for assembling various GM vehicles, including Chevrolet models, for the local market. However, direct large-scale vehicle manufacturing operations by General Motors or a company specifically named "General Motor Co." are not currently active in Pakistan for new vehicle production.

While General Motors previously had manufacturing and assembly facilities in Pakistan through its partners, any entity operating under a name similar to "General Motor Co." in Pakistan today is predominantly involved in trading activities. This includes the import, distribution, sales, and servicing of General Motors vehicles or their parts, rather than manufacturing new vehicles.

General Motors Company (GM) does not currently manufacture or sell any products in Pakistan. The company officially exited the Pakistani market in 2017. Historically, through its local partners, General Motors sold various Chevrolet brand vehicles, including models such as the Chevrolet Joy, Chevrolet Optra, and Chevrolet Spark.
