The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Power Corporation, a public joint stock company. Established by presidential decree in December 2009, ENEC is responsible for developing and operating the UAE's first nuclear power plant, the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant. This landmark project aims to provide safe, clean, reliable, and efficient electricity to meet the UAE's growing energy demands, diversify its energy sources, and reduce its carbon footprint.
