Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC is a joint venture established by four major international energy companies: Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), Kuwait Petroleum Europe B.V. (KPE), Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. (IKC), and Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. (MCI). It operates one of the largest and most complex oil refineries in Vietnam. The company is primarily engaged in the refining and processing of crude oil into a wide range of petroleum and petrochemical products, including gasoline, diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, polypropylene, and benzene. As a large-scale industrial facility located in the Nghi Son Economic Zone, it serves as a critical pillar for Vietnam's energy security and industrial development.
