USAID (United States Agency for International Development) is neither a factory nor a trader. It is a U.S. government agency.

USAID is the lead U.S. government agency that works to end extreme global poverty and enable resilient, democratic societies to realize their potential. It operates globally, including in India, where its mission functions as an integral part of the U.S. Embassy. USAID provides development and humanitarian assistance by funding a wide range of programs implemented by partner organizations, rather than engaging in direct manufacturing or commercial trade. Its work in India focuses on areas such as health, climate change, energy, food security, and inclusive economic growth.

The American Embassy and USAID in India do not directly produce or sell products. They are government entities focused on diplomacy, development assistance, and humanitarian aid. USAID provides funding and technical expertise to various organizations that implement projects in areas like health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure. These partner organizations may produce or distribute goods and services as part of their projects.
