EMERALD PERFORMANCE MATERIALS KALAMA CHEMICAL

EMERALD PERFORMANCE MATERIALS KALAMA CHEMICAL COMPANY INTRODUCTION INDONESIA

Emerald Performance Materials Kalama Chemical is a manufacturing company.

Emerald Kalama Chemical is a business group within Emerald Performance Materials, a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals. The company is primarily involved in the production of various chemical products, including benzoic acid, sodium benzoate, plasticizers, and other specialty ingredients used in a wide range of applications such as food and beverages, personal care products, and industrial materials.

While Emerald Kalama Chemical is a manufacturer globally with production facilities in other countries, its presence in Indonesia is typically focused on sales, distribution, and customer support. Therefore, the entity operating under this name in Indonesia functions more as a sales and distribution office or works through authorized local distributors to serve the Indonesian market with its manufactured products, rather than operating a manufacturing plant directly in Indonesia.

EMERALD PERFORMANCE MATERIALS KALAMA CHEMICAL, now part of LANXESS, in Indonesia primarily produces or sells a range of specialty chemicals. Their product portfolio typically includes:

1. Benzoate Preservatives and Intermediates

Examples: Sodium Benzoate, Benzoic Acid, Potassium Benzoate

2. Plasticizers and Coalescing Agents (K-FLEX line)

Examples: K-FLEX Dibenzoate Plasticizers used in adhesives, sealants, coatings, and vinyl products

3. Aroma Chemicals and Flavor Ingredients

4. Specialty Chemicals and Solvents
