CAS Number (CAS RN)

A CAS Number (CAS Registry Number) is a unique numeric identifier assigned to a chemical substance by the Chemical Abstracts Service. It is the standard way B2B buyers and suppliers lock product identity on RFQs, COA and customs documents.

CAS numbers look like 67-64-1 (acetone). Always put the CAS on every commercial document to avoid wrong isomers, hydrates or trade-name confusion. Use the free SKYSEVEN CAS lookup tool to check basic properties.
