CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES COUNCIL OF MALAYSIA (CICM) Company Introduction

The Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM) is the leading industry association representing the Malaysian chemical industry. It serves as a platform for chemical manufacturers and related companies to address common issues, promote the industry's interests, and facilitate its growth and development.

CICM's primary objectives include:

* Advocating for the industry's concerns to government bodies and other stakeholders.

* Promoting responsible care and sustainable development practices within the chemical sector.

* Facilitating networking and collaboration among its members.

* Providing information, training, and resources to enhance the competitiveness of the Malaysian chemical industry.

* Representing the Malaysian chemical industry on regional and international platforms.

CICM is an industry association or council. It is neither a factory nor a trading company. Its members are the companies that operate factories, manufacture chemical products, or are involved in the trade and distribution of chemicals within Malaysia.

The Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM) represents its member companies which manufacture, trade, and use a wide range of chemicals and related products. CICM itself does not directly manufacture or sell products.
