The Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM) is the leading sector association representing the Malaysian chemical sector. It serves as a platform to chemical manufacturers and related companies to address common issues, promote the sector's interests, and facilitate its development and research. And CICM's primary objectives include:

Advocating to the sector's concerns to government bodies and other stakeholders. And Promoting responsible care and sustainable research practices within the chemical sector. And Moreover Facilitating networking and collaboration among its members. But Providing information, training, and resources to enhance the competitiveness of the Malaysian chemical sector. Representing the Malaysian chemical sector on regional and international platforms. CICM is an sector association or council. it's neither a factory nor a trading company. Its members are the companies that operate factories, manufacture chemical items, or are involved in the trade and distribution of chemicals within Malaysia.

The Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM) represents its member companies which manufacture, trade, and use a wide range of chemicals and related products. CICM itself does not directly manufacture or sell products.
