20 May 2026-Lindex and BASF loopamid®The partnership aims to accelerate the "textile-to-textile" recycling process and drive the fashion industry's transition to more circular material solutions. Both sides will loopamid®Introduce the underwear industry.

to Lindex, the consumption of loopamid®It is another measure in its prolonged commitment to increase the consumption of recycled materials and decrease its application on virgin raw materials. Based on the progress made in the field of regenerated cellulose fibers from "textile to textile", Lindex is now actively promoting the consumption of recycled polyamide materials in the underwear sector.

Anna-Karin Dahlberg, Lindex's Chief Sustainability Officer, said: "As a key player in the lingerie sector, we have a clear responsibility and opportunity to drive change in this category. Polyamides are an crucial material category to Lindex, and our scale allows us to make a real difference. With loopamid®We are moving from vision to action, advancing greater circular solutions while supporting prolonged sustainability and reducing the consumption of virgin materials. Achieving such significant progress requires new technologies and close cooperation throughout the value chain, and BASF plays a key role in this process."

loopamid®Developed by BASF, it is a recycled polyamide 6 made entirely from textile discarded materials (including post-manufacturing and post-consumer discarded materials). The methodology enables the recycling of polyamide materials (including blended fabrics) that would otherwise be difficult to handle, while maintaining material condition comparable to virgin polyamide 6 and supporting multiple recycling.

Head and loopamid of Innovation, BASF Monomer Business Unit®Project leader Dag Wiebelhaus said: "Through loopamid®Our goal is to achieve complete closed-loop recycling of polyamide textiles. The cooperation with Lindex allows us to actively promote the transformation of the fashion sector to a greater circular model."

First Adoption loopamid®The finished underwear product is planned to be launched in some Lindex underwear styles in early 2027. This collaboration and loopamid®The consumption of Lindex will help Lindex achieve its overall materials goal: by the end of 2026, 100 percent of all materials it uses will come from recycled or sustainable sources.
