Jiangsu Bud Polyurethane Officially Listed "New Third Board"

On May 22, 2026, Jiangsu Bard Polyurethane Co., Ltd. was officially listed on the National SME Share Transfer System (New Third Board). At the same time, the company's annual output of 120000 tons of special polyether project has been successfully reached in April this year, marking the 15 years of deep cultivation in Huai'an, in the field of bimetallic catalyst in the leading position of the enterprise, into a new stage of high-quality development.

The creation of Bard Company originated from the original intention of breaking the monopoly of foreign methodology. In 2011, Qi Weixin and other three founders with technical background settled in Huai'an manufacturing Park and successfully developed a bimetallic catalyst with completely independent intellectual property rights, which changed the situation that the product is determined by imports. Since then, the company has been tackling key problems to seven years to overcome the new process of continuous production of bimetallic catalysts to polyether, which can save about 1 billion yuan per year to the domestic polyether sector and minimize the discharge of solid discarded materials and wastewater by about 70000 tons. Bard has been awarded the title of national high-tech enterprise and national specialized and special new "little giant" enterprise.

In the face of the domestic high-end polyether items still rely on imports of the sector status quo, Bard will shift the strategic focus to high-end special polyether track, the layout of polymer polyether, linear polyether two categories of items. At present, the company has built two major manufacturing production systems of bimetallic catalysts and special polyether polyols, in which the domestic market share of bimetallic catalysts to polyether polyols exceeds 80%, and the sales volume of special polyether dispersants is leading in China.

In order to meet the demand of market development, Huai'an manufacturing Park will guarantee the project land at the end of 2023 and support Bard to build a project with an annual output of 60 tons of bimetallic catalyst and 120000 tons of special polyether. Among them, the 120000-ton special polyether project reached production in April this year, with a six-fold leap in production capacity.
