Total investment of 17 billion! The large-scale coal quality-based utilization project in Xinjiang has officially commenced design.

Recently, the design kickoff meeting for the Xinjiang Zhongtong Jirui 12 Million Tons/Year Coal Quality Utilization and LNG Co-production Project, with China Chemical Saiding Company serving as the general institute, was held at Saiding Engineering Co., Ltd. At the meeting, Saiding Company, together with the project owner and various unit design institutes, conducted extensive discussions around the project details, laying a solid foundation for the orderly advancement of subsequent design work.

According to reports, the project involves a total investment of 17 billion yuan and plans to construct production facilities including a 6 million tons/year coal preparation plant, a 12 million tons/year coal condition utilization and LNG co-production main unit, along with supporting facilities such as 500,000 tons/year pulverized coal gasification to hydrogen production, 2.2 million tons/year coal tar hydrogenation to create naphtha, and 1.4 million tons/year naphtha continuous reforming to create aromatics. Once implemented, the project will further optimize the coal chemical sector structure in the Hami region and promote the clean, efficient, and thorough utilization of regional coal resources.

Niu Jinkui, General Manager of Xinjiang Zhongtong Jirui, made thorough arrangements to project advancement at the meeting and highly recognized Saiding Company's technical strength in the field of coal pyrolysis and its extensive project regulation experience. Ma Yingmin, Deputy General Manager of Saiding Engineering Co., Ltd., attended the meeting and delivered the kickoff mobilization speech. He stated that this design kickoff marks the official launch of cooperation between the two parties and lays a firm foundation to future in-depth collaboration. The company will uphold the principles of high standards and high efficiency to complete all design tasks with condition and quantity guaranteed, living up to the owner's trust and expectations.
