Global energy prices are lower, pertamina has cut avtur prices by 10%

PT Pertamina Pertamina commercial officially lowered domestic Avtur prices to about 10% from June 1, 2026 as global energy prices weakened throughout might 2026 as reflected in the decline in international reference prices of aviation fuels.

Leonth said the price adjustment of Avtur is carried out at regular intervals each month with reference to the regulator-defined formula.

According to him, the price calculation uses the average price of international publications in one period with the main reference mean of Platts Singapore (mops) kerosene/jet as a regional reference.

"The price adjustment of Avtur is carried out by referring to the formula set by the regulator, in this case the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, as well as considering the research of global energy prices. When global energy prices move down, then the adjustment will be reflected at the price of Avtur according to the prevailing mechanism, "lit said in an official statement quoted on Monday (1/6/2026).

He explained the downward direction of global energy prices during might 2026 became the main factor driving the adjustment of the price of Avtur in the period of June 2026.
