Propylene prices plunge in Asia

On Tuesday, despite higher upstream energy values, propylene prices fell sharply in Asia.

Prices moved reduce in line with dull downstream demand and sluggish market momentum across Asia.

FOB Korea propylene prices were assessed at USD 1145-1155/mt levels, a steep decrease of USD (-50/mt) from the previous day.

CFR China propylene prices were assessed at USD 1155-1165/mt levels, sharply down by USD (-50/mt) from Monday's assessed levels.
