CPDC likely to bring No.3 Caprolactam plant onstream

China Petrochemical Development Corp (CPDC) is planning to restart its No.3 caprolactam (capro) plant in Kaohsiung.

A Polymerupdate source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is expected to resume operations at the plant around in early-June 2026. The plant was shut down to maintenance.”

Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the No.3 plant has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
