Yisheng Petrochemical resumes production at No.1 PTA unit

Yisheng Petrochemical has brought its No.1 purified terephthalic acid (PTA) unit onstream in Hainan.

A Polymerupdate source in China informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the unit around June 1, 2026. The unit was shut down to maintenance.”

Located in Yangpu, Hainan in China, the No. 1 PTA plant has a production capacity of 2 million mt/year.
