Overview of the latest four sets of CCCAC

The four sets of equipment constructed by Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Company are an crucial part of the Huajin Ami project to extend the manufacturing chain and optimize the product structure.

①Among them, the 200000-ton/year high-density polyethylene plant adopts slurry high-density polyethylene methodology developed by Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Company, which can flexibly switch items of multiple grades, with the advantages of low interaction pressure, uniform temperature manage and convenient switching.

The 300000-ton/year propylene oxide plant adopts HPPO methodology jointly developed by Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Company, Zhongshi Fossil Academy of Sciences, Changling Refining and Chemical, and Qingdao security Institute, with no co-production by-items, low releases of three wastes, excellent product condition, and process indicators reaching the international leading level.

③ 590000 tons/year ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol plant has the characteristics of low ethylene consumption, high selectivity, low energy consumption and operation cost.

④ 200000 tons/year polyether polyol plant does not need to set up a catalyst production line, efficiently solving the issue of product condition fluctuations in the traditional intermittent method, short process, low material consumption and energy consumption, environmentally friendly ecological preservation.

With a total investment of 83.7 billion yuan, Huajin Aramco Fine Chemical and Raw Material Engineering Project is a super-substantial refining and chemical integration project jointly constructed by Huajin Group (51%), Saudi Aramco (30%) and Panjin Xincheng Group (19%) affiliated to China north sector Group. The project is located in Liaobin Coastal Economic and Technological research Zone, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, covering an area of 8.9 square kilometers. Planning and construction of 15 million tons/year oil refining, 1.65 million tons/year ethylene, 2 million tons of PX and other 32 sets of process equipment and supporting utilities.

On March 29, 2023, the project was fully started. On December 25, 2025, all 32 sets of main production devices of the project were mechanically completed. At present, according to the rhythm of "mature one set, Zhongjiao one set", the completed devices are gradually transferred to production.
