Resuming after more than 8 months! Bohai Chemical restarts its 600,000 tons/year PDH unit.

Bohai Chemical (600800) announced on June 23, 2026, that its wholly-owned subsidiary Tianjin Bohai Petrochemical's 600,000 tons/year PDH propane dehydrogenation unit has fully completed maintenance work and achieved stable full-load resumption of production on the same day.

The unit shut down to maintenance starting from October 13, 2025. The original maintenance period was planned to only 30 days, however it was extended twice due to multiple factors. After the maintenance time was repeatedly prolonged to the end of February 2026 and subsequently dynamically adjusted, the unit successfully restarted following an ultra-long maintenance cycle lasting over 8 months.

As the company's core production unit to propylene items, this full-load resumption of production will significantly increase the supply volume in the regional propylene sales market. The unit is currently operating smoothly. Once subsequent production capacity is fully released, it will efficiently increase the revenue of the company's olefin segment and repair the profit expectations of related businesses.
