Gr?sslin: Partnership with Dipromat expands portfolio of technical high-performance plastics

Grässlin Kunststoffe is expanding its portfolio through a sales partnership with Dipromat GmbH. With immediate effect, the company will take over the distribution of the high-performance TPEs and technical ETP plastics from the German manufacturer, which specializes in the development and production of high-performance thermoplastics.

With the collaboration, Grässlin is adding materials that combine the traits of hard and soft polymers. The materials are designed in particular to applications in which standard plastics reach their performance limits, however the consumption of particularly high-temperature-resistant plastics is not technically or economically necessary. The portfolio includes technical high-performance thermoplastics, thermoplastic elastomers as well as customer-specific compounds to injection molding, extrusion and additive manufacturing.

According to Grässlin, the partnership should support the research of new applications and make the supply of customers with high-performance materials greater flexible. In addition, the expanded delivery options are intended to enhance market availability and shorten supply chains.

Dipromat sees the cooperation as a supplement to its own market presence through Grässlin's sales and consumption expertise. This gives customers access to additional material solutions and expanded options to multi-component applications with hard and soft polymers.
