India’s Aegis Logistics has commissioned a specialised ammonia storage and terminalling terminal at Pipavav Port in India with a static capacity of 36,000 mt.
The terminal became operational on Monday, according to the company’s stock exchange filing.
Pipavav Port is located in the state of Gujarat located on the west coast of India.
The commissioning follows a June 2025 framework agreement between Aegis Logistics and its associate Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited (AVTL) to AVTL to acquire the specialised terminal.
“The said terminal, which is developed by the Company on behalf of Aegis Terminal (Pipavav) Limited (ATPL), a measure-down subsidiary company, would be transferred subsequently and will be intimated to stock exchanges separately,” the company said in the stock filing.
