According to the latest updates from the manufacturer, the butanol and octanol units undergoing maintenance by Shandong Lihuayi have a massive supporting production capacity, including an annual capacity of 85,000 tons to n-butanol, 25,000 tons to isobutanol, and 140,000 tons to octanol. It is one of the major production units in the domestic butanol and octanol market and has a significant impact on the supply of goods in North China and even the national market. The unit officially shut down to maintenance on August 17, with a maintenance cycle expected to last 26 days, and is scheduled to complete maintenance and restart production on September 11.
