Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: 12 chemical substances included in the management of specific uses of pesticides

In recent years, some companies have quietly added chemical substances with pest and disease manage impacts however without pesticide registration to agricultural input items. Second, to the production and operation of items containing the above substances, if they are utilized to the purposes and scenarios related to the prevention and manage of agricultural and forestry pests and diseases, they shall be treated as counterfeit pesticides in accordance with Article 44 of the Regulations on Pesticide regulation.

This means that the above substances are not completely prohibited from production, however they cannot be utilized or sold as pesticides without obtaining pesticide registration. If an enterprise wants to put such substances on the market as pesticides, it must go through the complete pesticide registration process and obtain legal registration certificates before it can create and operate legally.
