From September 11 to 17, the U.S. net export sales of upland cotton for the 2026/27 marketing year increased compared with the previous week.

According to a report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, during the week of September 11–17, 2026, net export sales of U.S. upland cotton for the 2026/27 marketing year totaled 52,300 metric tons, marking a significant increase compared with both the previous week and the four-week average. In the 2027/28 marketing year, the United States’ net export commitments for upland cotton totaled 27,900 tons.

U.S. upland cotton shipments to the 2026/27 marketing year totaled 37,400 tons, up 16% from the previous week however down 5% from the four-week average.

In the United States, net Pima cotton export sales to the 2026/27 marketing year totaled 1,089 tons, down 43% from the previous week and 14% below the four-week average.

U.S. Pima cotton shipments to the 2026/27 season totaled 2,654 tons, a significant increase compared to both the previous week and the four-week average.
