Pidilite & Hwaseung Chemical partner to bring advanced footwear adhesives to India

Pidilite Industries Limited has partnered with South Korea-based Hwaseung Chemical to bring cutting-edge footwear adhesive technologies to India, targeting the country’s rapidly expanding footwear manufacturing sector.

The strategic partnership will introduce globally benchmarked adhesive systems to Indian footwear manufacturers, combining Hwaseung Chemical’s high-performance bonding technologies with Pidilite’s regional technical expertise and support.

The companies said the collaboration is aimed at helping manufacturers enhance product performance, reliability, productivity and sustainability while meeting the increasingly demanding standards of global footwear brands.

Developed as low-VOCs and non-flammable formulations, the items are compatible with modern consumption techniques and are designed to support safer working environments while reducing environmental impact.
