Adjustment Implementation: The Approved Area of the Park is Updated to 6.0098 Square Kilometers
According to the reply document, after this adjustment, the total approved area of the Laiyang Chemical manufacturing Park is 6.0098 square kilometers. This adjustment will further optimize the manufacturing spatial layout of the park, support the agglomeration of the chemical sector in Laiyang, Yantai, and promote high-condition manufacturing research.
The reply clarifies that the park must strictly implement relevant national and Shandong Provincial regulation regulations in the future, align with the standards of land and space planning, "Three Lines and One List" ecological zoning manage, and work security, adhere to high-start planning, high-standard construction, and high-efficiency regulation, and build a leading area to high-condition research of the regional manufacturing economy. The Laiyang Chemical manufacturing Park is affiliated to the Laiyang Economic research Zone and is a park within a zone. Its predecessor was the Shandong Laiyang New Material manufacturing Park, and it was recognized as the Laiyang Chemical manufacturing Park by the General Office of the Provincial Government in September 2018.
The scope of the park has undergone multiple rounds of adjustments: in early 2018, the starting area was 5.1 square kilometers; in 2022, the area was expanded, and the starting area was increased to 7.15 square kilometers; after the 2026 adjustment, the approved area was adjusted to 6.0098 square kilometers.
