The double substations of the PUSRI-ⅢB project in Jugang, Indonesia, built by the China Chemical Fifth Ring Project, were successfully powered at one time, solving multiple construction problems, helping the project to be put into production on schedule and building overseas high-quality projects.

On February 26, the PUSRI-ⅢB synthetic ammonia urea project in Jugang, Indonesia, which was contracted by China Fifth Ring Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Chemical Engineering Group, achieved a complete success in the first power reception of the main substation and SG0708 substation, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent power reception commissioning and trial operation of the project's core plant areas such as synthetic ammonia and urea, marking a key new stage in the construction of the project.
It is reported that the project, as a national key chemical fertilizer upgrade project in Indonesia, is located in Jugang, south of Sumatra Island, Indonesia, with a daily output of 1350 tons of synthetic ammonia and 2750 tons of urea. It is jointly implemented by a consortium formed by China Fifth Ring Engineering Co., Ltd. and ADHI, a local Indonesian engineering company. It is an important large-scale EPC general contracting project for China's chemical engineering in the Indonesian market. The success of this power reception is an important milestone in the construction of the project and provides a solid power guarantee for the smooth progress of the follow-up project.
Faced with the realistic dilemma of tight construction period and heavy construction tasks, the project team gave up their vacation during the Spring Festival and took the initiative to link up with the project owner, the Jugang Fertilizer Plant (PT PUPUK SRIWIDJAJA) under the jurisdiction of the Indonesian state-owned Fertilizer Group (PT PUPUK INDONESIA) and all participating units, planned and deployed in advance, and formulated a detailed and perfect power receiving implementation plan. The team checked and implemented various power receiving conditions one by one, conducted a comprehensive investigation of various potential safety hazards, and completely cleared them, so as to make full preparations for the smooth development of power receiving work.
On the day of power reception, the staff of each post of the project performed their duties, coordinated and cooperated with each other, carried out each operation accurately in strict accordance with the established plan, completed the status confirmation of all core equipment in advance, and finally realized the successful power reception of key equipment such as transformers and switch cabinets at one time. The whole process was safe, efficient and orderly, which fully demonstrated the professional quality and execution of the Chinese engineering team.
Looking back on the whole process of project construction, the team has encountered multiple problems such as the influence of local Ramadan customs and the lag of equipment and materials. However, the project team has always been guided by the overall construction goal of the project, adhered to scientific overall planning, fine management and control, overcome difficulties, faced difficulties, solved all kinds of bottlenecks restricting the construction progress one by one, and promoted the project construction efficiently.
