Directorate of Forensic Science Services (DFSS) Introduction

The Directorate of Forensic Science Services (DFSS) is not a factory or a trader. It is a governmental organization under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

It serves as the nodal agency for all forensic science laboratories in India. Its primary role is to standardize forensic science practices, develop new techniques, provide training, and offer comprehensive forensic services to the criminal justice system across the country. The DFSS aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of forensic investigations and promote research and development in forensic science.

The Directorate of Forensic Science Services (DFSS) in India is a government organization under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
