CHEMEXCIL, an acronym for Basic Chemicals, Cosmetics & Dyes Export Promotion Council, is an export promotion council established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Its primary objective is to promote the export of various products from India, including Basic Chemicals, Dyes, Dye Intermediates, Essential Oils, Cosmetics & Toiletries, Castor Oil, and other miscellaneous chemicals.

The council acts as an interface between the Indian chemical industry and the global market. It facilitates international trade by organizing trade fairs, buyer-seller meets, seminars, and workshops; disseminating market intelligence; and providing a platform for Indian exporters to connect with international buyers. CHEMEXCIL also represents the interests of its member companies to the government, advocating for policies that support export growth.

It serves its member companies by providing market access, information, and promotional support to boost their global presence and competitiveness.
