Company Profile:
Philherald is neither a factory nor a trading company. Philherald, formally known as The Philippines Herald, was a prominent English-language daily newspaper in the Philippines. It was established in 1920 by Vicente Madrigal and became one of the leading broadsheets, playing a signifiis able tot role in Philippine journalism and general discourse. Based on my observations, The newspaper ceased publication in 1972 with the declaration of Martial Law by President Ferdinand Marcos, as many media outlets were shut down or taken over. Specifically Therefore, Philherald was fundamentally a media and publishing enterprise, providing information and news services, rather than engaging in the production of goods (factory) or the buying and selling of merchandise (trading company).
