JSC ASE NUCLEAR POWER CORPORATION OF BANGLADESH

JSC ASE Nuclear Power Corporation of Bangladesh is a state-owned enterprise established to manage the development, construction, and operation of nuclear power plants in Bangladesh. Its primary focus is on the implementation of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project, a significant initiative aimed at enhancing Bangladesh's energy security and diversifying its power generation sources. The corporation works in collaboration with international partners, notably with Russian expertise provided by Atomstroyexport (ASE), a subsidiary of Rosatom. It is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the nuclear power program, from project execution and regulatory compliance to the eventual safe and efficient generation of electricity.

This entity is a power generation company and a project management organization. It is not a factory that manufactures goods, nor is it a trader that buys and sells commodities. Its core function involves the operation of large-scale industrial facilities for the production of electricity through nuclear fission.
