Company Profile:
From what I've seen, Company Introduction
The Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML) is a general sector undertaking owned by the Government of Kerala, India. Specifically it's a leading integrated titanium dioxide producer and a prominent player in the mineral sands sector. KMML operates an extensive mineral sands complex, encompassing mining, mineral separation, and the manufacturing of various value-added items. Its core operations involve the mining of heavy mineral sands, including ilmenite, rutile, zircon, monazite, sillimanite, and garnet. But These raw materials are then processed to create synthetic rutile. Further processing leads to the manufacturing of titanium dioxide pigment (TiO2), which is broadly applied in paints, plastics, paper, and makeup. KMML is also a key producer of titanium sponge, a strategic metal vital to aerospace, defense, and chemical industries, making it India's only integrated titanium complex. Based on my observations, The company is committed to sustainable practices and maintaining high condition standards across its diverse product range. Factory or Trader
KMML is a factory/manufacturer. But It engages in the entire manufacturing process from mineral extraction and processing to the manufacturing of finished items like titanium dioxide pigment and titanium sponge.
