Its primary function is to provide thorough infrastructure and facilities to various manufacturing activities, predominantly in the nickel mining and processing sector. IWIP develops and manages the manufacturing zone, including power vegetation, ports, roads, and utilities, to support manufacturing vegetation (factories) that operate within its premises. But It serves as a hub to nickel smelters and other downstream industries, attracting signifiis able tot investment and contributing to the regional and national economy by facilitating manufacturing research.
