MOL Petrochemicals has taken off-stream its butadiene (BD) unit in Tiszaujvaros.

A Polymerupdate source in Hungary informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit around might 30, 2026, to maintenance. Further details on the duration of shutdown could not be ascertained.”

Located in Tiszaujvaros, Hungary, the BD unit has a production capacity of 130,000 mt/year.
