U.S. propylene contract prices settle lower for May 2026

A Polymerupdate source in the U.S. informed a team member that propylene contract prices have been settled for May 2026.

The source said, “The contract price to Polymer-grade propylene (PGP) has been settled at the 52.00 cents/lb FD US Gulf mark, while the contract price to Chemical-grade propylene (CGP) has been settled at 50.50 cents/lb FD US Gulf mark.

The source added, “These prices represent a decline of (-7.00 cents/lb) from their April 2026 settlement levels.”
