This week, Polycarbonate (PC) prices drifted lower in the United States.

An sector source in the U.S. told a Polymerupdate team member, “U.S. polycarbonate prices edged reduce as softer feedstock costs continued to weigh on market sentiment. while supply remained somewhat constrained following delays to planned maintenance at a domestic production facility, weak seasonal demand and cautious purchasing activity limited market support, resulting in reduce price assessments.”

On Thursday, Polycarbonate Extrusion grade prices were assessed at 113-115.00 cents/lb FOB US Gulf levels, down (-2 cents/lb) from the previous week.

Polycarbonate General-purpose molding grade prices were assessed at 118-120.00 cents/lb FOB US Gulf levels, a week-on-week drop of (-2 cents/lb).

Meanwhile, in Asia, CFR China Polycarbonate Extrusion grade prices were assessed at USD 2090-2110/mt levels while Polycarbonate General-purpose molding grade prices were assessed at USD 2090-2110/mt CFR China levels, both tumbled by USD (-120/mt) from the previous week.
