Propylene prices inch higher in the United States

Propylene prices rose in the U.S. on Wednesday. The price rise was supported by improved regional buying sentiment and higher energy values.

Polymer-grade propylene spot delivered prices were assessed at 40.50-41.00 cents/lb FD US Gulf levels, a gain of ( 1.50 cents/lb) from Tuesday's assessed levels.

Refinery-grade propylene spot delivered prices were assessed at 34.50-35.00 cents/lb FD US Gulf levels, a day-on-day rise of ( 1.50 cents/lb).
