Data released by SunSirs indicates that as of June 1, the benchmark price for acrylic acid stood at 8,616.67 RMB/ton, a slight decline of 0.39% from the 8,650.00 RMB/ton recorded at the beginning of the period (May 31). A review of recent trends shows that following a period of rapid gains, the market entered a downward trajectory in mid-to-late April; however, the decline slowed significantly between late May and early June. After briefly stabilizing near 8,650 RMB/ton, prices edged down slightly to the 8,600 RMB/ton range, signaling a temporary balance of power between market bulls and bears.
