Jiangsu Hailun Chemical to bring No.3 PTA unit on-stream

Jiangsu Hailun Chemical is planning to resume production at its No.3 Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) unit.

A Polymerupdate source in China informed a team member, “The unit is likely to be restarted by the end of July 2026. It was shut down to maintenance around April 22, 2026.”

Located in Jiangyin, China, the No.3 PTA unit has a production capacity of 3.2 million mt/year.
