Oriental Union Chemical commences maintenance at Glycol ethers unit

Oriental Union Chemical (OUCC) has taken its glycol ethers unit offline.

A Polymerupdate source in Taiwan informed a team member, "The unit was shut to maintenance in early June 2026. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained."

Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the unit has a production capacity of 120,000 mt/year.
