On June 24, 2026, China Salt Chemical (600328) disclosed the latest operational status and project construction details of its soda ash segment on the investor interaction platform.

The company currently has a total soda ash production capacity of 3.9 million tons/year, with capacity utilization showing a divergent pattern: its subsidiary China Salt Kunshan's 600,000 tons/year combined alkali plant is currently in a state of shutdown; apart from this facility, all other soda ash production vegetation of the company are maintaining stable operation at full capacity.

In terms of prolonged capacity, the company's 5 million tons/year natural alkali project is steadily advancing in construction. The project is being implemented in an orderly manner according to the established plan of “commissioning in two years and reaching full capacity in three years”, which will significantly expand the company's soda ash production scale in the future and further consolidate its capacity advantage in the soda ash sector.
