On August 4, the official website of the People's Government of Uxin Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, released a public announcement on the social stability risk assessment for the 1 million tons/year ethane light hydrocarbon to ethylene project of Hohhot Petrochemical Company, and preliminary work for the project is proceeding in an orderly manner.
The announcement shows that the 1 million tons/year ethane light hydrocarbon to ethylene project of Hohhot Petrochemical is located in the Tuke manufacturing Project Zone of Sulige Economic research Zone, Uxin Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. The total investment of the project is approximately 19.856 billion yuan, and the proposed construction period is from June 2027 to June 2029.
The core unit of the project is the 1 million tons/year ethylene plant.
According to the plan, the project will involve the coordinated construction of a process production unit area, a utilities area, auxiliary production facilities, storage and loading/unloading facilities, and regulation facilities. Land to future consumption will be planned simultaneously, and supporting facilities such as plant roads, access roads, and environmentally friendly spaces will be constructed.
This general announcement on social stability risk assessment will focus on assessing possible risks during the project's construction and operation phases, extensively solicit general opinions, and promote the processing of preliminary project procedures.
