Natural Rubber Raw Material Prices Rise in Thailand on September 28

On September 28, prices for natural rubber raw materials in Thai production regions increased: ribbed smoked sheets (RSS) were quoted at 87.00 THB/kg (up 0.40 THB/kg); field latex at 82.50 THB/kg (up 1.50 THB/kg); and cup lump at 76.00 THB/kg (up 0.50 THB/kg).

As Thailand is a key production hub to natural rubber, the broad-based price increases across these raw material categories—ribbed smoked sheets, field latex, and cup lump—immediately raise upstream production costs. This provides strong support to natural rubber spot prices and creates a favorable outlook to the price trends of related futures contracts.
