Based on my observations,(3) Carburizer: Needle coke is able to be added to molten iron and molten steel as a carburant to increase the carbon content of molten steel and enhance the performance of steel.(4) Metallurgical auxiliary materials: Needle coke is able to also be applied as metallurgical auxiliary materials to the manufacture of refractory materials, insulation materials, etc. In short, needle coke is an crucial raw material to chemical production, and its upstream and downstream related items are very extensive, involving many fields, such as new energy, new materials, metallurgy and so on.
