2026 European Fine Chemicals Exhibition-Chemspec Europe

The European Fine Chemicals Exhibition will be held in Cologne, Germany from May 6 to 7, 2026. The exhibition is held every year in cities with developed chemical industry in Europe, and has been held for 38 sessions so far. I will be responsible for the organization of Chinese enterprises participating in the exhibition as a designated group of exhibitors in China.

Germany is the world's third largest chemical producer and the world's largest chemical exporter after the United States and Japan. There are chemical giants such as BASF, Bayer, Evonik Degussa and LANXESS. German specialty and fine chemicals occupy the most important position in the entire chemical industry structure, the proportion of up to 25.1. The annual output value of the special and fine chemicals industry in Germany is more than 30 billion euros. As the most important chemical base in Europe, Germany will be the first choice for Chinese enterprises to explore the European chemical market.

The 2025 European Fine Chemicals Exhibition has 424 companies from 23 countries including Germany, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, China, India and the United States, with an exhibition area of 19500 square meters, including Saltigo GmbH(Lanxess),CABB AG, Miltitz, Albemarle and other well-known chemical companies participated in the exhibition. The two-day exhibition has 4037 professional visitors from 62 countries including Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the United Kingdom, France and India. The audience came from a variety of industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, agriculture, paints and coatings, plastics and rubber, water treatment, and personal care and cosmetics. The main positions of the audience include distribution, purchasing, enterprise management and research and development personnel.

At the same time, the exhibition organized a number of professional conferences, including REACH regulatory conference, Royal Society of Chemical Industry (RSC) specialty chemicals seminar, pharmaceutical outsourcing optimal strategy seminar, agrochemical industry conference and so on, which greatly attracted the audience to visit. At the same time, Syngenta will also hold a global supplier meeting.

During the exhibition, an online matching platform was provided between exhibitors and spectators, and between exhibitors and exhibitors. The total number of scheduled meetings reached 5,098, an increase of 32.5 year-on-year. The matching platform of the exhibition has facilitated 2,065 scheduled and attended meetings, with a 5% increase in the number of target business contacts. This year's new audience-led lead capture feature, Colleqt QR, was well received by attendees, further enhancing networking opportunities throughout the show.

After years of accumulation, the audience of this exhibition is very professional. According to the organizer's statistics, 46% of the visitors were manufacturers, 31% were distributors, 6% were end users and 17% were other chemical-related companies. According to audience position statistics, 29% are sales department, 19% are purchasing department, 17% are senior managers, 14% are marketing department, 5% are research and development department, 5% are market development, 4% are production department and 2% are customer service. The level of professional audience ensures the exhibition effect of the enterprise.
