The India International Fine Chemicals Exhibition (ChemExpo India 2026) will be held in Mumbai, India on April 29-30, 2026. The exhibition is sponsored by Chemical Weekly. As the designated group of exhibitors in China, I will organize Chinese enterprises to participate in India.
India's GDP has been growing at a high rate, reaching 6.7 per cent in 2022, once again overtaking the UK to rank fifth in the world. In the first quarter of 2023, India's GDP grew by 6.1 per cent year-on-year, ranking first among the world's top 10 economies. The market size of India's chemical and petrochemical industry is about US $178 billion. By 2040, India's share of the global chemical market may reach 10% ~ 12%, and the output value of India's chemical industry will reach US $850 billion ~ 1 trillion in 2040. The study reveals that the specialty chemicals sector could be a key driver for the rapid growth of the Indian chemicals industry in the coming years. India's chemical industry has seen strong growth across segments. Specifically, petrochemicals are expected to grow at a compound growth rate of 7.5 per cent, with agrochemicals growing at a compound growth rate of 8 per cent and specialty chemicals growing at 12 per cent.
After the 19th session of the India International Fine Chemicals Exhibition has been in the scale of exhibitors and the level of the audience has been sustained and stable development. The exhibition brought together representatives of Indian fine chemical enterprises such as Sterling, Gharda, Balaji Amines, Mitsubishi, Jubilant Organosys, Atul, Gharda Chem, Deepak Nitrite, S. Ami, India Glycol, Jonson Matthey, Aditya Birla, etc. A total of 556 enterprises participated in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of 30000 square meters. The two-day exhibition attracted 31032 professional visitors from 53 countries. The exhibition also held a number of professional forums.
