600,000 tons of phosphate fertilizer have arrived! Morocco's OCP has signed contracts with multiple state-owned enterprises in India

Moroccan Phosphate Group OCP has signed phosphate fertilizer supply memorandums of understanding with multiple Indian fertilizer importers, with a total supply scale of 600,000 tons under the agreements, and the shipping window for the goods is August-November 2026.

The supplied items this time include 350,000 tons of diammonium phosphate (DAP) and 250,000 tons of triple superphosphate (TSP). The trade adopts the Indian CFR formula pricing model. According to market news, the agreement sets differentiated payment terms: 45 days to DAP and 120 days to TSP, however relevant trade terms have not been officially confirmed by the companies. All participants in this procurement are Indian state-owned fertilizer companies, including Indian Potash Limited (IPL), Paradip Phosphates Limited (PPL), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (RCF), HURL, FACT and others.

India is the world's major consumer and import market to diammonium phosphate. As China's phosphate fertilizer export scale shrinks, India has continuously increased its procurement from Morocco's OCP. As early as March 2026, the two sides reached a 2.5-million-ton prolonged phosphate fertilizer supply framework agreement, and this 600,000-ton order is a immediate supplementary order, mainly utilized to replenish India's domestic agricultural fertilizer reserves.
