cyclohexene is a colorless transparent liquid, chemical formula C6H10, molecular weight 82.14. It is mainly used in organic synthesis, oil extraction and as a solvent. Cyclohexene has an active double bond and can react with other compounds, so it plays an important role in the production of fine chemicals such as medicine, pesticide and dye. In addition, it is also soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents, insoluble in water. Cyclohexene has stable physical properties, low melting point and boiling point, easy storage and transportation, and has a wide range of applications in the chemical industry.
(1) Synthetic resin: Cyclohexene is an important raw material for the synthesis of a variety of resins, which are widely used in coatings, paints, adhesives and other fields. Through different synthesis methods, resins with different performance characteristics can be obtained to meet the needs of different industries.
(2) Production of nylon: Cyclohexene is one of the key raw materials for nylon production. Through polymerization, high molecular weight nylon molecular chains can be obtained to prepare nylon products with excellent performance. These products are widely used in clothing, shoes, hats, bags and other fields.
(3) Preparation of spices and dyes: Cyclohexene can be used to prepare various spices and dyes, providing rich and colorful raw materials for cosmetics, food, textile and other industries. These fragrances and dyes not only have a beautiful smell and color, but also have good stability and safety.
(4) Used as solvent and extractant: cyclohexene is insoluble in water, but miscible in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents, so it is often used as solvent and oil extractant in organic synthesis.
(5) Other applications: Cyclohexene can also be used for the synthesis of lysine, cyclohexanone, phenol, polycyclic olefin resin, chlorocyclohexane, rubber additives, cyclohexanol, etc., and is commonly used as a catalyst, high octane gasoline stabilizer, etc. It is also widely used in the production of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, detergents, explosives, feed additives, polyesters and other fine chemicals.

from cyclohexanol in the presence of catalyst sulfuric acid, heating to generate cyclohexene, distillation to obtain crude products. It is then washed with a saturated solution of refined salt, and then neutralized with a trace amount of acid by sodium sulfate solution. After washing with water, layering, drying, filtering and rectifying, the fraction at 82-85 ℃ is collected to obtain the finished cyclohexene.
This product is an organic synthetic raw material, such as the synthesis of lysine, cyclohexanone and phenol, but also can be used as a catalyst solvent and petroleum extractant.
