Dow Restarts Cracker LHC3 in Terneuzen
In recent months, work has been carried out on maintenance and preparations to safely return the installation to service. According to Dow, this is standard procedure when starting a squatter. The torch installation plays a crucial role in security: residual gases are burned in a controlled manner to prevent them from entering the atmosphere raw.
All activities have been reported to the competent authorities and work is carried out within the applicable environmental authorisations. The flaring is limited as much as possible.
